Response to the 1999 Catalog has been overwhelming. We are out of many, many species at this time. Since a number of the plants we offer are so hard to find, we have to decided to take reservations for trees and shurbs that will be available when the new crop is ready for the Fall planting season. If you are thinking of ordering, please refer to the Online Catalog to check if the plant is currently in or out of stock. Reservations are accepted for any plants except those labeled "Discontinued". We will attempt to keep the Catalog updated the rest of this Spring.
No money or deposit is required to reserve the plants (providing the quantities requested are reasonable). Send an order like you normally would and note to Reserve for Fall Shipment. We will set aside the plants, hoping for a good and healthy crop, and contact you for payment when the shipping time comes near.
We will try this new policy for the balance of 1999 to see how it all works out. If we don't get too mired in paperwork and confusion, the reserve orders may become a permanent feature of the Elk Mountain Nursery.
