The Fall shipping season will begin September 8th.
We will resume shipping on the second week of September. Our area has broken all records for drought this summer. Not a lot of heat, but we had no measurable rainfall for two manths at the nursery. Thankfully the well and pump worked flawlessly--the nursery plants did fine. I wish I could say the same for the landscaping around the house. Native plants are durable, but they have to have some water! The nearby French Broad River was the lowest since they began measuring such things in the late 1800's.
Asheville Sales
We now stock a small area, in Spring and Fall, with a varied
selection of our plants (shrubs, trees and perennials) at the Screen
Door-Treasures for the Uncommon Garden and Cottage. Stop by and
browse. Even if you don't need a plant, there is at least an hour
of two of browsing
the other eclectic treasures in the Screen Door.
